Basic but Disappointing

The location was fairly convenient.
The lack of attention to detail bothered me. There were no coat hangers in the family room and no suitcase stand either. We had to ask for extra towels and refreshments. The room was only set up for two, not three guests for a four-night stay.. the bathroom door latch was faulty. I couldn't get out until someone opened it from the outside.

the room was quite large with two double beds, perfect for a small group. we appreciated the restaurant, a real bonus as we have dined before. the newly refurbished room included new beds, furniture, and a tv.
the room i stayed in faced the a1, and despite double glazing, the noise was noticeable and the handle on the window was broken.

the staff were notably friendly upon arrival. they were cute and fun (i liked that!). the late check-in option was ideal, as i was very tired after a long drive from france.

the on-site restaurant is a great advantage to the hotel. the food always smells fantastic (it's quite tempting!). staying here and eating at the restaurant has become a twice-yearly treat for us.

The location near the a1 was convenient. the restaurant provided an excellent dinner. The food tasted freshly cooked. the bed was comfortable and the shower worked fine. i appreciated the good value.
The bathroom light did not work properly. It was quite dim. this was a slight inconvenience.
